Simply put, P3 builds custom-integrated gauges that are tailored to blend into the interior of your vehicle. Rather than build a “one size fits all” gauge, we take a model-specific design approach that results in an OEM look and feel. We might be a small company, but we have a big vision– to change the face of automotive aftermarket gauges, one vehicle at a time, by offering an option that doesn’t look, well… aftermarket.
The company was started and the first product was invented, originally called the “Stealth Digital Vent Gauge,” by Rick Schilg in 2007 when he couldn’t find a decent looking digital gauge for his BMW. He used some of his design and fabrication experience to custom build a unique boost gauge for his twin-turbo 2007 BMW 3 series. A few design revisions later, he finally showed it off on internet forums, and by request of fellow enthusiasts he began hand building and selling boost gauges out of the basement of his home. After about a year of boot-strapping the company from nothing, he was able to quit his day job and work full time building and selling boost gauges. Rick currently owns and operates the company, and as Director of Development, carries out all circuit design, embedded programming, and technical aspects of product design and manufacturing, which is still done in-house, for a true “Made in the USA” product.
Building and growing a business comes with plenty of learning experiences. Anyone who has started a business (and kept it successful and growing for 10+ years) will tell you that you need to stick to what you are good at– find your niche, and don’t get distracted. As “P3 Cars” we have navigated the world of automotive aftermarket shows, crazy car builds, magazines, a bunch of project cars, retail ventures, etc. We used those experiences to learn where our focus needed to be, prune off some branches that weren’t on track with the original vision, and find success down the most efficient roads.
More recently “P3 Cars” pushed to return to it’s roots as a design and manufacturing company, and rebranded to “P3 Gauges.” We brought on Jake Thomas as Director of Operations to spearhead our domestic vehicle lines and build relationships in the muscle car world, and Matt Thomas to be in charge of production and shipping. All of us at P3 share the same passions. We are builders, we are makers, and we have the honor of making and using a product that we love, just as much as our customers! We had found the efficient roads to get us back to the original vision of changing the face of aftermarket gauges, one car at a time. P3 began to build a strong network for distribution, and partner with well known brands and businesses to extend our reach.
The company has now grown to have international franchises, a network of well over 300 dealers and distributors, as well as private label manufacturing contracts for major automotive aftermarket leaders. Even with the explosive growth, P3 has always and will always design, develop and manufacture it’s products in-house, while continually expanding our lineup to meet the demands of the growing performance industry… foreign and domestic.

The DIY (do it yourself) difficulty indicated can vary depending on individual skill levels and experience. Levels indicated are only estimates, based on minimal DIY experience and take into account time, tools required and level of involvement.
DIY Difficulty Levels:
VERY EASY - the easiest DIYs, done in minutes with basic hand tools.
EASY - relatively simple DIYs, requiring little time and basic mechanic tools.
INTERMEDIATE - involved DIYs that may require more time and special tools.
DIFFICULT - very involed DIYs, requiring good bit of time and special tools.
VERY DIFFICULT - the most intensive DIYs, requiring advanced tools.
Same-day shipping cutoff time for most items is 12PM CT. Orders placed past cutoff will ship out on the next business day.
"Direct Ship" refers to items which are not in stock at our main facility and instead ship from either one of our three major hub warehouses in the US or the manufacturer directly and may be subject to the manufacturer's processing and shipping times (this also includes manufacturer delays and backorders).

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak you may experience some delays in order processing and shipping. International Shipping Policy
Customers are responsible for any and all import and customs fees, which may be due on delivery, and are subject to different return and cancellation policies. Please review our Return Policy for additional information.

BMP Tuning will accept returns for UNUSED merchandise in original packaging within 1 YEAR from the time of purchase! UNUSED products in ORIGINAL PACKAGING that are RETURNED WITHIN 60 DAYS of purchase are eligible for a refund to the original payment method used. UNUSED products in ORIGINAL PACKAGING returned PAST THE 60 DAY MARK and within the 1 year return period are eligible for store credit only. After 60 days, non-stocked items will be accepted at the discretion of BMP Tuning. UNUSED products MUST BE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING, containing all accessories, labels, and documentation.
**CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ORIGINAL AND RETURN*** ***SHIPPING EXPENSES**
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs/fees – original shipping fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and items shipped with FREE shipping will still be subject to actual shipping charges being NON-REFUNDABLE. BMP Tuning is not responsible for damage to items being returned to us by the shipping carrier and will contact you so that you can file a claim if an item arrives damaged. Any returned/cancelled item is subject to a fee of up to 15%. Restocking fees are WAIVED in the event of a customer receiving a damaged / incorrect product.
KATAPULT: Katapult does not allow us to issue refunds. Purchases made through Katapult that require a refund may be paid back to the customer via Zelle, PayPal, gift card, or other form that is agreed upon.

If you need to return an item that does not fit your vehicle and you feel that there is an error in our listing, please contact us immediately. If we find an error on our website or on behalf of a BMP Tuning Representative, we will provide a shipping label for your return and arrange proper shipment of the correct items. ALL PRODUCTS MUST STILL BE NEW CONDITION IN THE ORIGINAL BOXES, INCLUDING LABELING, HARDWARE, AND DOCUMENTATION. Customers are responsible for checking the product description for applications prior to ordering anything from our site to verify that the items you have selected are appropriate for your vehicle. Items ordered that are listed correctly on our website but ordered in error WILL REQUIRE SHIPPING TO BE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER.

If you receive a package that is missing items or was damaged during shipment, please contact BMP Tuning WITHIN 10 DAYS OF DELIVERY. Please check all items as they are delivered! Be sure to keep all packing material, boxes and photos of the damage as this will be necessary to complete the damage claim with the specific courier. UPS/FED EX Typically take 8-15 business days to complete their investigation, however, this time frame could be extended depending on circumstances.
While we always try to provide the most accurate product and pricing information, we are humans and can make mistakes. If we listed an incorrect price or information for any product on our site, BMP Tuning reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed.
