To unleash the true potential of your 2.0T, the K04 turbo that is equipped on the Golf R / S3 is a much more robust choice than the factory equipped IHI (KO3) turbo, which runs out of breath mid-way in the RPM range. BMP is Incredible....HPA, not so much. GO CTS or TTE
Well, I missed the $1,350 price by two weeks...shame on me. Aside from that, BMP's staff was super helpful in helping me buy this for my MK6 GTI. The product wasn't listed on the website, but when asked, they were able to source it out, put it on the website for me to order. The HPA shipped from Canada, so shipping took about 7 days total. Packaged nicely, everything looked...well..like a turbo kit should. I had my K03 uninstalled in preparation, and had printed HPA's generous, but outdated instructions. I'll list my concerns below: 1. Quality: Again, looks like a turbo should. Came with a fancy keychain and license plate cover...but was missing the crush washers for coolant and oil lines. Had to go find those....which became a beast with the coolant line needing a larger one at the base of the banjo fitting. 2. Turbo Outlet Silicone Pipe: Did not fit, would not fit, could not fit my oem pancake pipe. I had to cut relief points in it to make it slide over the pancake opening. I reached out to HPA to see what the deal was and if they could just send me another. Their response: "cory, I checked with the sales team. We only make and provide one silicone with these and they are tight but should and will fit your OEM pancake pipe I can get you a cost on a replacement silicone but it will be the same as the one you got with your turbo cost will be $25 + $20 for shipping" I normally don't feel too entitled, but come on. Performance: I'm faster. Should have gone CTS though.
