A crucial aspect—often overlooked—is having sufficient airflow to the compressor to reduce the risk of surge. Less restriction (less vacuum) and colder air enable the turbo to move a larger air mass, which means more air to the engine—resulting in noticeable power gains. This allowed us to work efficiently in our CAD environment using SolidWorks.
