OEM rubber turbo inlet boots do the job OK on a stock application, but are prone to problems once boost is turned up and performance increased.
Due to the lack of reinforcement, it's common to see the stock hose collapse under vacuum created by the turbo's suction. The OEM rubber hose is also a common area to see cracks and leaks with age, which can throw off MAF readings.
Since our hose is not corrugated, and maintains a larger inside diameter than the stock hose, it flows much smoother and flows more air than the OEM hose, and its a direct fit to boot.

Although MOST parts DO FIT FACELIFT MODELS such as the MK7.5, C7.5 and B8.5, some components such as exhaust systems and headlights are NOT ALWAYS perfectly upward compatible and vice versa due to minor changes in body design such as fenders, bumper and valences.
