Product Information
BMP Tuning is excited to present to you our all new LED Headlights for the 5NA (MK2) VW Tiguan! Get rid of those ugly factory halogen headlights and nab a set of our premium LED lights while you still can! These lights are replicas of the Tiguan SEL Premium headlights.
BMP Tuning's headlight components are carefully handpicked with the highest level of quality control.. Every single set of headlights is carefully inspected for cosmetic impurities, fully tested for proper functionality and backed by our limited 1 year warranty.
Our headlights are 100% plug-and-play with no wiring or coding needed. The harness for your factory 5NA Tiguan halogen headlights is a direct fit and plugs right in. Overall Good
After about a year and half of using the V1s I felt pretty satisfied, despite the incessant shaking and the coating flaking off, they were pretty decent. Unfortunately, in mid May the passenger low beam passed away quietly in the night. He is survived by his life partner, Driver's Low Beam and their two suns, L High Beam and R High Beam. After some grieving and whatnot, I purchased these rather than returning to stock... Perchance not my best idea. Install was ezpz. I released the bumper from the side and top restraints, letting it hang nice and low without having to remove it all the way cause that'd mean putting the lift up or even worse, laying on the ground like a normie and that's WAAYY too much effort for a VW. All jokes aside, the housings are not weirdly misshapen or ultra poorly sealed or assembled. Thanks to some well qualified Chinese kids, I have had no water intrusion issues. This set of lights has an admittedly kinda cool DRL animation that plays on startup and *every* time the turn signals are canceled with the low beams off. (It "stacks" in the DRL bars until they're filled, they turn blue and then fade back to white, the whole thing lasts about 5 seconds). The low beams have an "interesting" beam pattern that's Jeffinitely not inconvenient or annoying at all(foreshadowing). The high beams are disgustingly bright and I genuinely like that. So if you like an easy plug and play install, get these. If you like having an annoying DRL animation play every time your turn signal cancels (without headlights on), get these. If you like having your retinas nuked by your nice new headlights reflecting off a road sign, you need these in your life. If you don't want to see anything on the left side of the road, but love to see off in the trees on the right side, you know what to do... Don't understand? Me either. Diagram and explanation below provided by yours truly. Double Yellow White Line/Edge of Road || | || | ___ || _______ _______/ This is the beam pattern(more or less) ___/ Driver Passenger For some reason, most likely money, the manufacturer decided to use essentially the same lens for both left and right low beams and call it a feature (If these ever die, I am definitely performing an autopsy to find out if they indeed are the same lens or if the designers are just grossly incompetent). From the Drivers seat, this means the Left headlight drops off HARD into oblivion and you couldn't hope to see anything beyond the double yellow, which is great for not blinding oncoming traffic... as long as you are driving in a perfectly straight line and the road is as smooth as glass. If there is a bump, dip, drop, rise, hill, turn, or anything else that would have your headlights illuminating anything other than the roadway, you will effectively flashbang oncoming traffic. That's fine enough, it's sort of a good design just not implemented very well. However for the Right side, the right ditch is pretty well illuminated but not in the way you're thinking, also you have the wonderful effect of annihilating the retinas of any driver in the right lane via their mirror and shining brightly halfway up any road signs that are at least 100 yards away. Due the to god awful projection, this is what happens when they are properly aligned, there is no way to avoid this. Lower them and you can't see anything but the road directly in front of you. Raise them and you blind everyone at distance. If the Right lens mirrored the Left like its supposed to, these would be way better. If the light output of the low beams was slightly lower, you wouldn't be burdened by the BRIGHT reflection off of roadway markings, aged asphalt, concrete, snow, dust, fog, etc. and they would be absolutely perfect... For what you get, they're pretty darn good for the price you can buy them on that Chinese site. For BMP's $1000 price tag, you might expect instructions, details, anything to explain what's in the box and what you're supposed to do with your hands and perhaps your eyes. You would be wrong to do that as your social credit score is not high enough, comrade. Just buy em, they're more than good enough I guess

You would be wrong to do that as your social credit score is not high enough, comrade. You're probably asking yourself why I rated these with four stars? Maybe I like that they're stupidly designed. Maybe its that my ocular nerves were burned by the light of a thousand suns being reflected off of a speed limit sign. Nah, not that. Despite the brutal honesty seen above, they're pretty rad headlights. Sure you could get them elsewhere for less, but that route takes several weeks and if there's a problem with your headlights, you're almost certainly on your own. Maybe the projector lenses aren't the best, but they do the job MORE than well enough. They certainly outperform those hilariously terrible halogens that these cars come with by at minimum tenfold. Buy 'em, you won't regret it. Unless your eyes are sensitive.
Customer Service A+
Overall the headlights are very nice. Completely transformed the look up front. Nice to see the reflection of the LED DRL’s behind cars. These did take a day or so to acclimate to the dryer air up north. Customer service is top notch, I will happily support a small business when they fully back their product has they have so far. Thanks again.
Great lights
The lights are great. They have a very sharp cutoff like high-end Euro-brand lights. The interesting thing about my lights is watching the YT video, the animation of the lights at startup is the same pattern as mine. However, my lights switch from, green, to blue, to white.
