Our Oil Cooler Kit is an essential fit for any hard-driven 2.0 TSI EA888.3 engine running high power levels or in extreme climates.
Of course, adding power simply generates more heat to disperse. Significantly increased oil temperatures means only one thing: a decrease in the ability for your engine to stay properly lubricated.

***ORDER CANCELLATIONS***
All order cancellations are processed during regular business hours only. Any order cancellation requests made outside of business hours will be processed during the next business day.
Any cancelled orders including orders that have not shipped will be subject to a 3.5% cancellation fee to offset order processing fees that are not refunded to BMP Tuning. Additionally, if your order has already shipped, you may incur additional fees if the shipment needs to be recalled and/or rerouted back to BMP Tuning.
Some products sold cannot be cancelled after the order has been placed due to agreements with the manufacturer, or in the case of made to order/custom items. This will be noted in the product description.
Please note: Cancellations made after hours, on the weekend, or on a holiday may not be processed for cancellation prior to the order being processed and shipped.
***RETURNS AND EXCHANGES***
BMP Tuning will accept returns for UNUSED merchandise in original packaging within 1 YEAR from the time of purchase!
UNUSED products in ORIGINAL PACKAGING that are RETURNED WITHIN 60 DAYS of purchase are eligible for a refund to the original payment method used.
UNUSED products in ORIGINAL PACKAGING returned PAST THE 60 DAY MARK and within the 1 year return period are eligible for store credit only. After 60 days, non-stocked items will be accepted at the discretion of BMP Tuning.
UNUSED products MUST BE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING, containing all accessories, labels, and documentation.
**CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ORIGINAL AND RETURN*** ***SHIPPING EXPENSES**
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs/fees – original shipping fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and items shipped with FREE shipping will still be subject to actual shipping charges being NON-REFUNDABLE. BMP Tuning is not responsible for damage to items being returned to us by the shipping carrier and will contact you so that you can file a claim if an item arrives damaged.
Any returned item is subject to a fee of up to 15%.
Restocking fees are WAIVED in the event of a customer receiving a damaged / incorrect product.
KATAPULT: Katapult does not allow us to issue partial refunds. Katapult orders that are cancelled prior to fulfilment will be refunded 100% directly through Katapult. For Returns: Any Katapult purchases that require a partial refund will be given back to the customer as a store credit. No restocking fees will be deducted. However, the original shipping costs on the order will be deducted and the customer will also be responsible for the shipping costs to return item(s) to BMP Tuning.

If you need to return an item that does not fit your vehicle and you feel that there is an error in our listing, please contact us immediately. UPS/FED EX Typically take 8-15 business days to complete their investigation, however, this time frame could be extended depending on circumstances.

Worth it to anyone that wants a decent drop in oil temps
When I originally opened the package it was missing a few parts. BMP got in touch with Racingline and fixed that right away. Install was fairly straightforward. I did it with the front end apart so it was pretty easy. At high speed (80+) at 70F ambient temp I saw a 30 degree drop. Around town I saw a solid 10-15 Degree drop. Overall, very pleased. Takes a bit longer for the oil to get warmer but, thats to be expected. 10/10 Would buy again.
Missing parts
Bought this kit thinking everything should be included. What I got was the legacy or the version 1 of the kit that has no brackets. Really disappointed with this. I called BMP and basically did not get any help. Also, like what the other guy said above me, the core is too small for a tuned car. During hard driving, I still see temps at 230*-240*. So I decided to get a larger core and hoping it will help out
Good for a stock car, but not one running more boost.
This is an okay quality kit, with several substantial drawbacks. The most glaring drawback is the very tiny 10 row cooler core. The core itself is average quality, but a unit this size is really designed for a 90HP engine. The stock GTI can run the oil temp into the upper 240s and 250s on very hot days, so this little core should do well to keep the temps closer to the 230s. On track it will only reduce temps by about 10-15 degrees, which is plenty for stock. A modified GTI will run the oil well into the 270s and even as high as 290. I am replacing the kit core with a nicer and larger Setrab unit, capable of cooling a 220HP wet sump engine, which should lower temps closer to 30 degrees, enough for a stage 2 GTI. Another major drawback to this kit is the metal filter. Replacement filters are 50$+ and a complete waste of money. Luckily this can fit a Subaru sized filter, so I plan to use those in place of the metal thing. 6$ vs 50$+ is a no brainer. The last issue with this kit is the pressure based valve. You have to run the spec oil, otherwise pressure might be different at different temperatures. It's not a thermal valve. I wish there was just a manual valve in place, since that would be simpler, but luckily with the adapter in place, you can replace the pressure valve with a standard Setrab thermal valve. The rest of the parts bin to make this an effective kit will run an additional ~350$.
