A Picture-Perfect Entry
When we kicked off the Hot Mod contest at BMP Tuning, we weren’t expecting to be blown away by a single snapshot in an email—but that’s exactly what happened. Matthew Seymour submitted a photo of his heavily modified Volkswagen MK7 GTI and captured the spirit of the contest perfectly: clean build, lots of personal style, and a great photo that POPs.
How the Contest Worked
It was simple—send us a photo of your modified car, no frills required. The idea? Celebrate our community and the everyday builders who pour their hearts into their cars. We received dozens of entries, each one unique, but Matthew’s stood out from the pack.
Why Matthew Won
There was something about the way his car sat—low, confident, dialed in. The stance, the subtle touches, and the lighting in that one photo told us everything we needed to know: this build had passion behind it. And in a contest like this, that’s what really counts!
